Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu lauded the Delhi Police for swiftly apprehending two suspects involved in the attack on a senior Army officer and his son in Vasant Vihar. L-G Sandhu expressed appreciation for the prompt action taken by the Delhi Police in the Vasant Enclave case, emphasizing the importance of expediting the investigation to ensure all accomplices are brought to justice.

Sandhu reiterated the commitment to safeguarding citizens and upholding law and order standards. The first accused, identified as Satender alias Sonu, is the son of Banwari Lal and resides in Mehram Nagar. He holds a directorial position at Chaudhary Aviation Private Limited, a company specializing in chartered and cargo flight services, as well as aircraft sales and parts transactions.

The second suspect, Sanjay Sharma, son of Laxmi Narayan Sharma, lives in Mehram Nagar and operates Pandit Ji Dhaba. Earlier, L-G Sandhu expressed deep concern over the assault on the Brigadier, his wife, and their son, a 23-year-old IIT Delhi graduate in Vasant Enclave. Sandhu instructed the Delhi Police to ensure the Army officer and his family receive full security measures.

Expressing his distress over the Vasant Enclave incident, Sandhu personally contacted the Brigadier to inquire about their well-being. He also engaged with the Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Police, urging a thorough and swift investigation leading to immediate and suitable actions against the culprits.
