Delhi Lok Niwas Hosts National Song and Anthem for NCC Cadets

In a significant event, Delhi Lok Niwas featured the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ and National Anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’ during a function for the Republic Day Camp Contingent of NCC. Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena praised the cadets’ dedication, discipline, and passion towards the nation, calling it truly inspiring. He expressed confidence in the cadets continuing the NCC’s legacy in nation-building towards #ViksitBharat@2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta recently engaged with NCC cadets at the Republic Day Camp, urging them to evolve into responsible citizens who prioritize the nation. She emphasized the importance of instilling values of national service from a young age, noting NCC’s pivotal role in upholding this tradition. Chief Minister Gupta commended the cadets for their discipline, determination, and national spirit, observing various activities like the Guard of Honour, Band Display, and Hall of Fame, along with innovative schemes like the Young Disaster Friend Scheme and drone training.

Impressed by the cadets’ presentation and discipline, Chief Minister Gupta lauded their synchronized march, band performances, and cultural displays as a reflection of the nation’s essence. She praised NCC for fostering courageous and responsible youth, instilling values of nationalism, unity, and constitutional commitment. Chief Minister Gupta highlighted NCC’s comprehensive training approach, underscoring initiatives like ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Camps and Special National Integration Camps.
