The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the full reopening of all stations across the Delhi Metro network, allowing both entry and exit services for passengers. This decision follows temporary restrictions due to heightened security during nationwide protests over the NEET paper leak controversy. The DMRC confirmed the restoration of services through a post on X, stating that all stations are now open for passenger services.

Authorities gradually lifted restrictions at key stations in Central Delhi over the weekend, leading to the complete reopening of the Metro network. Earlier, entry gates at Janpath Metro station were reopened, followed by Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House, and Central Secretariat Metro stations. These steps indicated a phased restoration of normal operations after the temporary suspension of entry and exit services at several stations in Central Delhi.

The temporary closure of 18 Metro stations, including prominent ones like Rajiv Chowk and Patel Chowk, was announced by the DMRC until further notice. These measures were taken amidst nationwide protests demanding action against the alleged paper leaks and exam irregularities, which also led to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Pradhan cited accountability and the need to prevent exploitation by anti-national forces as reasons for his resignation.

With the latest advisory confirming the reopening of all stations for both entry and exit, Delhi Metro services have returned to normal in the national capital. This move comes as a relief to daily commuters who were affected by the temporary security-related restrictions during the protests.
