Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for not seeking the resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains in the wake of a paper leak controversy. Sirsa accused the AAP of hypocrisy, pointing out their previous stance on such issues. He highlighted that despite AAP leaders acknowledging the need for accountability in the Punjab paper leak, they were not holding their minister accountable.
Sirsa further accused the AAP leadership of protecting their ministers despite their claims of transparency and accountability. He criticized the party for deviating from its principles for political expediency, emphasizing the impact on children affected by the alleged irregularities. The ongoing political dispute in Punjab surrounding the paper leak has led to opposition parties demanding action and accountability from the government and the AAP.
Sirsa also targeted AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for failing to address the examination irregularities and take responsibility. He condemned the party for allegedly neglecting the future of children and avoiding the resignation of Harjot Bains despite the seriousness of the situation.
