Delhi Minister for Social Welfare and SC/ST/OBC Welfare, Ravinder Indraj Singh, highlighted the importance of holistic village development for national progress. He praised Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership in driving the holistic development of rural areas in the Capital. Singh inaugurated a road construction project in Bawana Assembly Constituency, funded by the Chief Minister’s Development Fund at Rs 1.89 crore.

Aiming to enhance civic infrastructure in Delhi’s villages, Singh reiterated the government’s commitment to modernizing these areas. He assured that rural development remains a top priority with ample funding for development initiatives. Construction and upgrade projects for roads, sewer lines, water pipelines, and other infrastructure are actively underway in Bawana Assembly Constituency.

Under the Chief Minister’s Development Fund, the Rs 1.89 crore main road project in Shahbad Dairy will enhance public connectivity and infrastructure in the area. The Delhi government’s focus is on providing quality civic amenities to all residents, ensuring balanced and inclusive development. Singh directed departments to complete construction projects on time with high-quality materials, emphasizing zero tolerance for compromised quality.

Development initiatives in Bawana Assembly Constituency are progressing steadily, with recent projects like the sewer line project in Rohini Sector-26 and the main road construction in Shahbad Dairy. These efforts aim to elevate civic infrastructure and improve residents’ quality of life.
