Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh highlighted the initiation of development projects in Shiv Vihar Colony, Bawana Assembly constituency, focusing on rural area enhancement through the Chief Minister Development Fund. Efforts are underway to expedite long-awaited infrastructure projects in villages.
Singh acknowledged the persistent demands of residents for these developments, contrasting the current government’s proactive approach with the previous administration’s limited actions. The government is now prioritizing the completion of these essential works.
Addressing the historical neglect of the Bawana Assembly area, Singh emphasized the current administration’s commitment to prioritizing the region’s development. Under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership, critical civic infrastructure projects like road construction, sewer lines, water pipelines, and drains are receiving immediate attention.
In a separate event at Pooth Kalan Gram Sabha, development initiatives for drains, streets, and sewer lines in narrow lanes were launched. The local senior citizens expressed gratitude to Singh through a felicitation program during the event.
Singh urged citizens to actively monitor and ensure the quality of ongoing development projects. He emphasized the importance of public participation in accelerating effective development, stressing that any quality issues should be promptly reported for rectification.
Highlighting the collaborative effort between the government and the public, Singh envisioned long-lasting infrastructure that would address civic issues like drainage for the next 15–20 years.
