Delhi Social Welfare Minister and Bawana MLA Ravinder Indraj Singh initiated development projects worth Rs 10 crore in Pooth Khurd village under the Delhi Rural Development Board Fund. The projects involve enhancing village roads, constructing pavements, and improving drainage systems to boost civic infrastructure.
Upon completion, these projects will enhance connectivity in Pooth Khurd and neighboring areas, reduce waterlogging issues, and provide improved civic amenities to local residents. Singh highlighted that these initiatives aim to strengthen rural infrastructure and facilitate smoother daily commuting and access to essential public services.
Singh emphasized that the government’s priority is to provide modern infrastructure to Delhi’s rural areas through the Delhi Rural Development Board Fund. The projects in Pooth Khurd are part of a comprehensive vision for the village’s overall development, focusing on enhancing the quality of life and meeting future requirements.
Projects worth Rs 20 crore were recently launched in Deep Vihar, followed by the Rs 10 crore initiatives in Pooth Khurd, showcasing the government’s commitment to developing the Bawana Assembly constituency. These efforts are expected to visibly benefit the region’s residents and contribute to its positive development.
The Delhi government, through the Delhi Rural Development Board, continues to work on strengthening basic civic amenities in every village and colony within the Bawana Assembly constituency. Future projects will focus on promoting development, sanitation, transportation facilities, and expanding civic infrastructure to integrate rural Delhi more effectively into the mainstream of development.
