Delhi Police announced on Friday that all absconding accused individuals involved in the assault case against a Brigadier and his son have been captured. The apprehended suspects include Surjit Singh (36), Sunil Sharma (53), Ashish (32), and Satender (35), who had been evading authorities. Surjit Singh, acquainted with the main accused Satender, was among those sitting together in Mehram Nagar before the incident unfolded in Vasant Enclave.

Following a quarrel in Vasant Enclave, the group, led by Satender, traveled to the location in Surjit’s white car. After an altercation, they returned home but fled upon learning of the police case. The authorities successfully tracked and arrested them, recovering the car involved in the incident. Earlier, two other suspects, Satender alias Sonu and Sanjay Sharma, were apprehended, with Satender being the son of Banwari Lal and associated with Chaudhary Aviation Pvt Ltd.

Expressing concern over the assault, Delhi Lieutenant Governor T. S. Sandhu assured full security for the Brigadier and his family. The incident occurred when the Brigadier and his son encountered individuals consuming alcohol near their residence. An argument ensued, leading to an attack on the officer and his son by the individuals and their associates.
