Delhi Police have apprehended two additional suspects in connection with the Jaitpur murder case, bringing the total number of arrests to 10. The incident occurred on Sindhu Farm Road in southeast Delhi, where a 21-year-old man named Krishna Sahu was fatally stabbed. Among the 10 detainees, five are adults who have been formally arrested, while the remaining five are juveniles presented before the Juvenile Justice Board.
The two recently captured adult suspects are Manish Kumar, also known as Mangal, aged 20, and Amit, also known as RP, aged 21. Manish Kumar, a school dropout residing in Faridabad, Haryana, works at an AC pipe factory in Noida and hails from Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh. Amit, on the other hand, is a resident of Meethapur in Delhi, employed at an AC copper pipe factory in Noida, and originally from Patna, Bihar.
Following a physical assault report on Dharamshala Road, Jaitpur, on January 15, where three individuals were injured, investigations revealed a personal dispute escalating into a violent confrontation. The victims were lured for a reconciliation meeting that turned into a fatal attack with knives, resulting in Krishna Sahu’s tragic demise. The crime scene was examined, and forensic evidence collected as the police registered a case under relevant sections.
In separate incidents in Delhi, two individuals were stabbed to death, sparking investigations in both cases. In the first incident in Kalyanpuri, East Delhi, a criminal named Mukesh was found dead near a public toilet, leading to a murder case registration. Efforts are underway to identify the attackers through CCTV footage and questioning of family members. The second incident in JJ Colony, Bawana, North Delhi, saw the death of a 23-year-old man named Ranjan, adding to recent concerns over street violence and law enforcement in the Capital.
