The Delhi Police Special Cell has submitted a nearly 14,000-page fourth supplementary chargesheet under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) against the accused involved in the 2023 Parliament security breach. The charges include offenses related to terrorist acts, criminal conspiracy, and provocation to cause riots. The chargesheet was filed before the Patiala House Court and consists of 13,967 pages.

During the court proceedings, the prosecution detailed that the chargesheet was filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the UAPA. Accused individuals like Neelam Prajapati, Mahesh Kumawat, Manoranjan D., Amol Dhanraj, Sagar Sharma, and Lalit Jha were either on bail or produced physically from judicial custody. The Investigating Officer submitted the chargesheet, and copies were provided to all accused and their counsels.

Accused Neelam Azad and Amol Dhanraj’s counsels objected to the filing of the chargesheet at that stage, citing ongoing arguments on framing charges. They requested a hard copy of the chargesheet, which the prosecution assured would be provided on the next hearing date. The court directed the prosecution to supply a hard copy to the defense counsel and scheduled further proceedings for scrutiny of documents on May 29.
