Delhi Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh presented the Vote of Thanks to Lieutenant Governor V. K. Saxena in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. He highlighted the government’s initiatives for a developed Delhi under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
The Vote of Thanks session was inconclusive and is expected to continue into the third day of the Winter Session. Minister Ravinder Indraj emphasized the opposition’s disruptions in the House due to the government’s progress in various sectors over the past 10 months, causing hindrances to the Assembly’s proceedings.
Acknowledging Lieutenant Governor Saxena’s presentation of the government’s achievements, Minister Ravinder Indraj expressed gratitude for his guidance. He mentioned the government’s advancements in education, infrastructure, health, women’s welfare, and other key areas, setting new development standards in Delhi.
Gonda legislator Ajay Kumar Mahawar, participating in the Vote of Thanks, praised the BJP government’s significant improvements in social welfare services during its 11-month tenure. He criticized the previous AAP government for its ineffective policies, particularly highlighting issues with Mohalla Clinics and liquor vends in residential areas.
