Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor and DDA Chairperson, V.K. Saxena, is set to inaugurate the two-day Palaash Mahotsav 2026 at Asita floodplain near ITO on Saturday. The festival highlights DDA’s commitment to sustainable urban development and the creation of accessible green spaces in the city.
The event will feature intricate floral arrangements, seasonal plant displays, and interactive green installations showcasing a variety of ornamental and native species. Additionally, artisan stalls, food courts, cultural performances, workshops, and participatory activities will be available, catering to families, students, and visitors of all ages.
Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Harsh Malhotra, and DDA Vice Chairman, N. Saravana Kumar, will also be part of the inaugural event. The Palaash festival symbolizes the transition from winter to spring, emphasizing renewal, color, and togetherness.
