The woman claimed that despite her refusals, the agent forced his way in and flashed at her after using her washroom. The incident, recorded by the woman, led to the arrest of the accused, identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamat.
The woman, in a social media post, detailed the events where the delivery agent arrived to deliver a parcel and requested to use her washroom. Despite her repeated refusals and suggestions to seek help from neighbors, the agent allegedly entered her home without consent. The victim expressed feeling shocked, violated, and unsafe inside her own home after the incident.
According to the Bengaluru Police, a case has been registered at the Marathahalli Police Station based on the woman’s complaint of sexual harassment by the delivery agent. The case is filed under specific sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and legal actions are being pursued. The victim shared her story on social media to seek justice and raise awareness about safety concerns for women.
