A tragic road accident in Bihar’s Saran resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left six others seriously injured. The incident occurred when a speeding truck collided head-on with a pickup vehicle on NH-531 under the Daudpur police station area around 6:00 a.m. All the victims were artists and crew members associated with an orchestra from Khaira Bazaar.
The orchestra group was returning in a pickup vehicle after performing at a wedding ceremony in Siwan’s Chainpur area. As they traveled on NH-531 near Banwar Dhala, their vehicle collided with a speeding truck from the opposite direction, causing a severe crash. Eyewitnesses described the collision as extremely intense, leading to the pickup vehicle being severely damaged and thrown about 15 feet away from the highway into a nearby field.
Upon hearing the loud crash, nearby villagers rushed to the scene to assist in rescue operations before the police arrived. The Dial 112 emergency response team also reached the spot and rescued the injured passengers from the wreckage. The injured individuals were taken to the Ekma Community Health Centre for initial treatment, with critically injured victims later transferred to Patna Medical College and Hospital for advanced care.
