Thousands of devotees gathered at the ghats of River Ganga and temples across Uttar Pradesh to celebrate Ganga Dussehra. In Varanasi, grand celebrations took place at Devi Ahilyabai Ghat, where devotees participated in various rituals and ceremonies. The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust organized a religious program for Ganga Dussehra, including special aarti and abhishek of Maa Ganga at the ghats of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

BJP MLA Neelkanth Tiwari highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives for cleaning the River Ganga. Devotees also visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple to offer prayers to Baba Kashi Vishwanath and Maa Ganga. According to religious beliefs, bathing and worshipping on Ganga Dussehra help devotees attain spiritual purification and liberation.

In Prayagraj, massive crowds gathered at the Hanuman Temple on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra. Devotees sought blessings amid the ongoing observance of the festival. Mahant Balveer Giri Maharaj emphasized the spiritual significance of the period and the worship of Lord Hanuman during this auspicious time.
