Jurel’s aggressive innings included 15 boundaries and eight sixes, propelling UP to a total of 369/7. Despite fifties from Krunal Pandya and Shashwat Rawat, Baroda was dismissed for 315.
Jurel, batting at number three, achieved his first List A century in just 78 deliveries after opener Aryan Juyal’s departure for 26. He dominated the Baroda bowlers, especially pacer Rasikh Salam, whom he punished for 55 runs off 14 deliveries. Jurel partnered with Rinku Singh, who scored 63 off 67 balls, in a crucial 131-run fourth-wicket stand.
In another match, Sibsankar Roy’s brilliant century guided Assam to a remarkable four-wicket victory over Hyderabad.
