Singh made this announcement during a gathering organized by the Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress, where he highlighted the importance of transparency in utilizing devotees’ contributions.
The protest, attended by former minister P.C. Sharma, Mahila Congress state president Reena Borasi Setia, and party workers, focused on addressing financial irregularities in the Ram Temple donation fund. Emphasizing the need for a fair investigation into any misuse of donations made by countless devotees, Singh stressed the importance of accountability in handling religious funds. He expressed his commitment to ensuring transparency in the utilization of such donations and pledged to redirect his contribution if any financial irregularities were proven.
Singh, known for his adherence to religious traditions, also questioned the financial transparency of organizations like the RSS and the VHP, along with raising concerns about the operations of the Ram Mandir Trust.
