Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh revealed that his new album “Aura” got its name from fans who often praised his “amazing aura.” In a video with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, they discussed the album’s massive success, surpassing 100 million views, and Diljit’s sold-out concerts in Vancouver.
During the conversation, Fallon congratulated Diljit on the album’s streaming achievements and asked about the inspiration behind the title “Aura.” Diljit shared that it was a tribute to his fans who frequently complimented his aura during his shows, leading to the album’s name.
The video also highlighted Diljit’s successful Vancouver tour, where he performed to a packed stadium, describing the experience as “amazing.” Apart from his music, Diljit is gearing up for the release of the film “Main Vapas Aaunga” directed by Imtiaz Ali, a period romantic drama set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition of India.
