Ace director A R Murugadoss expressed dismay over the leaked footage of actor Vijay’s latest film ‘Jana Nayagan’, emphasizing that it represents dreams, hard work, and livelihoods. Various stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, and Chiranjeevi, along with professionals from the film industry, have denounced the unauthorized release of director H Vinoth’s anticipated action film ‘Jana Nayagan’, starring Vijay and Pooja Hegde. Rajinikanth, in a Tamil tweet, expressed shock and disappointment over the incident, urging film bodies to speak out against such crimes and urging authorities to take strict action against the culprits to prevent future occurrences.

Stars like Kamal Haasan have also criticized the leak, attributing it to systemic failures and delays in the certification process that create opportunities for piracy. He highlighted the detrimental impact of piracy on artists, technicians, producers, exhibitors, and cinema as a whole. Kamal Haasan stressed the importance of accountability, efficient certification procedures, strict enforcement, and immediate action against piracy. He called on genuine cinema enthusiasts to support the industry by watching films legally in theaters.
