Director Jagan Shaji Kailas has unveiled the title of his upcoming movie, ‘Neekkam’, starring popular Malayalam actor Dileep. The first look poster, released by Urvassi Theatres, features Dileep with an intense expression, holding an umbrella in a downpour. Sources close to the production have hinted that ‘Neekkam’ will be a thrilling film.
The film, previously known as D152, is helmed by Jagan Shaji Kailas, son of renowned filmmaker Shaji Kailas. Sandiep Senan of Urvassi Theatres, known for producing acclaimed movies like ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’ and ‘Vilaayath Buddha’, is producing ‘Neekkam’ alongside Alex E Kurian. Sangeeth Senan, Nimitha Francis M, Sandiep Senan, and Alex E Kurian are co-producers of the film.
‘Neekkam’ promises to go ‘Beyond destiny’ and features a stellar cast including Dileep, Binu Pappu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sirajudeen, Siddique, Sudheer Sukumaran, and Veena Nandakumar as the female lead. The film has garnered high anticipation among fans and cinephiles and boasts a talented technical crew.
The screenplay is by Vibin Balachandran, cinematography by Ajay David Kachappilly, and lyrics by Deepak Dev. The music score is composed by Mujeeb Majeed, with editing by Sooraj E S. Manu Alukkal serves as the project designer, and Raghu Subhash Chandran is the executive producer.
