Balaji acknowledged the challenges faced by the production team but remained optimistic, citing past instances where faith had seen them through similar situations. He emphasized that obstacles would be overcome, affirming the film’s release on the scheduled date.
Industry sources revealed that financial obstacles were hindering the film’s release, despite ongoing negotiations to resolve the issues. The makers had to cancel the morning shows on Thursday due to the unresolved hurdles, causing disappointment among eager fans and movie enthusiasts. Dream Warrior Pictures, the film’s production house, echoed the announcement of show cancellations, expressing regrets for the inconvenience caused.
Excitement surrounding ‘Karuppu’ soared following the teaser release on Suriya’s birthday last year, capturing the interest of fans. The teaser introduced Suriya’s character as a lawyer named Saravanan, also known as Karuppu, hinting at a high-octane commercial entertainer with intense action sequences.
