Director Sampath Nandi, currently working on the action film ‘Bhogi’ starring Sharwanand, expressed gratitude towards junior artistes and character actors for their vital contributions to the movie. Nandi acknowledged their dedication and hard work, emphasizing their essential role in the film industry. He praised their commitment to delivering their best performances despite challenging conditions on set.
The film’s team is shooting an intense climax sequence on a specially constructed set. The sequence, choreographed uniquely by stunt master Dilip Subbarayan, aims to offer a captivating cinematic experience. Sharwanand is expected to showcase high-risk stunt work in this crucial climax episode, which is scheduled for a 20-day shoot.
Actresses Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi have been introduced through the film’s first looks. Anupama’s character, Kandula Sulochana Rani, is depicted as a resilient individual deeply connected to nature. On the other hand, Dimple’s character, Mandaram, is portrayed as a bold and strong-willed personality. Sharwanand’s character in the movie is named Ganga, set in the early 1960s in a fictional village on the Telangana-Maharashtra border.
‘Bhogi’ is a period action drama slated for a pan-India release on August 28, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan. The film, set in the 1960s, promises a compelling narrative and features a talented crew including Kiran Kumar Manne for production design, Kishore Kumar Arokia for cinematography, and Bheems Ceciroleo for music.
