The district administration in Patna, Bihar, is closely monitoring to ensure the smooth supply and distribution of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Four cases related to LPG violations have been registered, with three FIRs in the Barh subdivision and one in the Danapur subdivision. Violations include the use of domestic LPG cylinders by restaurant operators in Barh and black marketing of LPG cylinders in Danapur.
Authorities are committed to maintaining a transparent and uninterrupted supply of domestic LPG. Additional District Magistrates and other officials have been instructed to conduct regular inspections and raids at LPG dealer outlets. The administration is collecting feedback from consumers and the public to address any issues promptly.
To prevent hoarding and address complaints, 28 enforcement squads have been formed at the block level. Nodal officers in these squads will respond to consumer complaints and take immediate action. The district administration urges the public to report any irregularities in the LPG trade for swift intervention against illegal activities.
