Director Mohan G’s much-anticipated film ‘Draupathi 2’ is scheduled to hit screens during the Pongal festival this year, according to industry sources. The film, produced by Chola Chakravarthy of Netaji Productions and G. M Film Corporation, has generated significant excitement among fans. Set in the 14th century, the movie unfolds against the backdrop of historical events during the reign of Hoysala emperor Veera Vallalar III.
With a star-studded cast including Richard Rishi, Rakshana Induchoodan, Y. G. Mahendran, and others, ‘Draupathi 2’ promises a grand cinematic experience. The film’s narrative delves into the valor and resistance of the Kadavarayas of Sendhamangalam amidst the turbulent shifts brought about by the Mughal invasion of Tamil Nadu. Notably, the movie also features actor and cinematographer Natti Natraj in a pivotal role.
In addition to its stellar cast, ‘Draupathi 2’ boasts a talented technical team. The Telugu dialogues are penned by Samrat, with music composed by Ghibran Vaibodha. Cinematography is handled by Philip R. Sundar, while choreography is overseen by Thanika Tony.
