The latest romantic drama film ‘Ek Din’ featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi has garnered mixed reviews, with most reactions leaning towards the negative or average. Viewers from various theatres in Mumbai shared their opinions on the movie. A viewer from Mira Road expressed disappointment, stating that the film lacked excitement and failed to meet expectations. The viewer mentioned that the only enjoyable aspect was the songs, criticizing the acting as mediocre.

Another viewer from the same theatre expressed a similar sentiment, feeling that the film could have been better executed. Comparing it to ‘Saiyaara,’ the viewer found the first half relatively better but was unimpressed with the second half. Commenting on the chemistry between Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, viewers noted Khan’s introverted character portrayal and praised the music as the film’s highlight.

The audience collectively rated the film 2.5 stars, attributing the rating mainly to the quality of the songs. An audience member from Andheri described the film as ‘okay’ and remarked on its resemblance to ‘Saiyyara.’ However, another viewer from the same theatre appreciated a particular scene involving a conversation with the mother, finding it emotionally impactful. Additionally, a different viewer commended the direction and music, giving the film a three-star rating.
