An elderly woman named Razia Bibi, who claims to have been trafficked from Bangladesh and sold in Pakistan 35 years ago, has lodged a petition against the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Lahore High Court. Razia Bibi, now 58 years old and a Pakistani national, was reportedly offloaded from a flight to Dhaka by FIA officials without explanation. Her lawyer alleges that she was kidnapped in Bangladesh, brought to Pakistan, sold, and forced into marriage before being taken to Kasur.

Razia Bibi’s lawyer further stated that she recently reconnected with her family in Bangladesh through social media, and her mother wished to meet her one last time. The lawyer accused the FIA of offloading Razia Bibi without justification, highlighting a pattern of alleged wrongful offloading of individuals by the agency based on suspicion of illegal activities like human smuggling. The lawyer has requested the court to penalize the FIA and compensate Razia Bibi for the expenses incurred on her travel arrangements.
