In a shocking incident in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district, a 65-year-old woman named Parvati Bhumij was brutally beaten to death by her brother-in-law, Dulai Bhumij. The tragic event unfolded just days after Dulai’s release from prison, where he had served time for murdering his wife.
Initially, Parvati’s death was thought to be from natural causes until family members discovered severe injuries on her neck and cheeks. Suspicions arose, leading to a village meeting where it was decided to involve the police. Upon investigation, Dulai confessed to the murder, and the police recovered the weapon used in the assault.
