Voters can use the new toll-free number, 18003450008, or email [email protected] to report problems like threats, intimidation, or interference with polling agents. State Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Agrawal stated that the Commission aims to address complaints promptly to ensure free and peaceful voting during the upcoming assembly elections.
Central forces have been deployed in West Bengal ahead of the polls to conduct route marches and boost voter confidence. The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to investigating complaints swiftly and maintaining a peaceful voting environment. District magistrates, police superintendents, and force coordinators in poll-bound districts urged voters to cast their votes without fear and assured a safe polling process.
