England’s Marc Guehi may miss the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final against Norway due to a hamstring injury sustained after the victory over Mexico. Declan Rice is also uncertain for the game as he battles a sickness bug. Both players were absent from training, with Reece James returning after an injury.

If Guehi is unable to train on Friday, his participation in the match against Norway will be in doubt. Meanwhile, Rice missed training for the second day due to illness. England faces a crisis at right-back following Jarell Quansah’s suspension, making the upcoming game more challenging.

Jordan Henderson, who injured his wrist celebrating the win over Mexico, has undergone successful surgery and is recovering with the team. The focus now shifts to the quarter-final at Miami Stadium, with a potential semi-final clash against Argentina or Switzerland on the line.
