European Union envoys have lauded the India-EU trade deal, hailing it as a significant accomplishment that will enhance trade and investment relations between the two sides. Malta’s High Commissioner to India, Reuben Gauci, expressed satisfaction, highlighting the deal as a substantial and well-balanced agreement that upholds the interests of both parties. Gauci emphasized the potential benefits of the deal in fostering trade and investment ties, citing trade as a pivotal factor driving investments.
Italian Ambassador to India, Antonio Bartoli, described the trade deal as a crucial development for both India and the European Union, expressing relief at the successful conclusion of negotiations.
