Chasing 153 runs, the Falcons had a strong start with Tare scoring 42 off 19 balls and Ishan Mulchandani contributing 29 runs.
India’s Shreyas Iyer’s quickfire 30 off 24 balls further boosted the Falcons, taking them to 106/2 by the 12th over. However, after Iyer’s dismissal, the Royals fought back, causing a collapse in the Falcons’ batting lineup. Despite the pressure, Gautam Waghela’s unbeaten 26 steered the Falcons to victory with five balls to spare.
Maratha Royals’ Sahil Jadhav’s 52 off 30 balls and Chinmay Sutar’s 23 helped them reach 152/9. The Falcons’ bowlers, led by Akash Parkar and Yash Dicholkar, restricted the Royals effectively, securing the win for the Falcons.
