Family members of Twisha Sharma, who died by suicide on May 12, after marrying Samarth Singh, immersed her ashes in the Ganga river at Rishikesh. Twisha’s father mentioned her deep connection with Rishikesh, where she had pursued professional yoga training.

Twisha’s father expressed that she cherished moments by the Ganga river, hence her ashes were immersed there as per her wish. He accused Twisha’s in-laws of disrupting her life and emphasized the ongoing fight for justice, now under CBI investigation.

Twisha’s brother, Major Harshit Sharma, highlighted Rishikesh as Twisha’s beloved place and expressed optimism with the CBI’s involvement in the case. He refuted claims of suicide, citing evidence tampering, and stressed the family’s commitment to seeking justice.

Cousin Naina Sharma affirmed Twisha’s love for Rishikesh and emphasized the family’s determination to transfer the case to Delhi for fair proceedings. She called for accountability for Twisha’s in-laws, advocating for real consequences to prevent similar tragedies.
