A family in Patna is facing a distressing situation after Binda Singh, a local trader, passed away in Vietnam during medical treatment. Despite waiting for three days, the family has been unable to bring back his body due to visa-related issues. Seeking assistance, they have reached out to the government for help in resolving the matter.

Binda Singh, a resident of Vigrahpur and an electronics trader in Patna’s Chandni Chowk area, had traveled to Vietnam as part of an Indian business delegation organized by a private tour operator. Unfortunately, he suffered a heart attack at a Vietnamese airport just before the group’s return journey.

Relatives shared that Singh was initially taken to a local hospital on Phu Quoc Island and later transferred to a facility in Ho Chi Minh City for advanced care. However, complications arose as a separate visa was required for the city, which was not part of the original travel plan. Despite showing signs of improvement initially, his health deteriorated, leading to his demise.

The family’s distress has been further compounded as Singh’s body remains in Vietnam due to unresolved visa issues. Moreover, his grandson and a relative who traveled to Vietnam are also stranded there. The family is urgently seeking government intervention to facilitate the repatriation process and bring closure to this tragic incident.
