Family members of the slain dacoit Jagan Gurjar protested outside JLN Hospital in Ajmer, refusing to accept his body and urging for a CBI investigation into his murder within the Ajmer jail. Jagan’s son, Asaram Gurjar, alleged a conspiracy behind the killing and emphasized the need for justice.
Asaram Gurjar, addressing the protest, expressed determination to seek answers from the government and vowed consequences if their demands were neglected. The family insisted on continuing the sit-in until their appeals were addressed and highlighted the necessity for enhanced security measures.
Demanding a CBI inquiry, Asaram also raised concerns about the safety of his uncle, Pappu Gurjar, in the same jail. He stressed the urgency of transferring Pappu to Dholpur Jail due to alleged threats to his life. The family’s associate, Prahlad Singh, hinted at possible involvement of influential figures in the murder and emphasized the need for a transparent investigation.
Asaram urged supporters through social media to join the protest at JLN Hospital, seeking solidarity in their pursuit for justice. The family’s demands for a thorough investigation into the murder inside the high-security prison have raised questions about the existing security protocols and the need for accountability.
