Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan surprised viewers by singing for her husband Shirish Kunder on “Rendevouz with Simi Garewal.” In a throwback clip shared by Simi on Instagram, Farah sang a track from her debut film “Main Hoon Na.”
The video captured Farah’s sweet gesture of holding Shirish’s hand while singing, adding a romantic touch to the moment. Simi, in her social media post, highlighted the rare display of affection from Farah towards Shirish.
Farah and Shirish’s love story began on the sets of “Main Hoon Na,” where Shirish worked as an editor under Farah’s direction. Reports suggest that Shirish joined the project due to his crush on Farah, who reciprocated his feelings over time.
The couple eventually started dating after Shirish expressed his feelings to Farah at a party. They got married in 2004 in a registered wedding, followed by a South Indian ceremony where Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri performed Farah’s kanyadan. The duo also had a nikah ceremony to honor each other’s religions.
Welcoming triplets in 2008, Farah and Shirish became parents to two girls, Diva and Anya, and a boy named Czar.
