Her father, Shivkumar Mali, criticized the airline company and government for their alleged callousness. He expressed disappointment that they learned about Pinky’s death through the news media, with no direct communication from the authorities.
Shivkumar Mali highlighted the lack of support from the airline and government, describing their behavior as inhumane. Despite the tragic incident, they claimed that neither the company nor the authorities reached out to provide information or assistance. The family had to personally retrieve Pinky’s body without any help from the concerned parties.
Pinky Mali, aged 29, lost her life in the plane crash at Baramati Airport, which also claimed the lives of others, including Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. Her family and friends mourned her at her cremation in Prabhadevi, Central Mumbai. The emotional ceremony was filled with tears and sorrow as loved ones paid their final respects.
Pinky’s father demanded a thorough investigation into the crash to understand the circumstances that led to the tragic event. Expressing surprise and dismay, he revealed that neither the government nor the company had reached out to offer support or compensation to the grieving family.
