The father of the Pune rape and murder victim has urged for the accused to receive capital punishment, requesting politicians to refrain from visiting their home for condolences. He emphasized that no meetings will take place until justice is served and the perpetrator is hanged. The tragic incident in the Bhor Taluka region has shocked the community, with a 65-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting and brutally murdering a four-year-old girl.

The heinous crime unfolded when the young girl went missing, prompting a frantic search by her family, leading to the discovery of her mutilated body. CCTV footage implicated the accused, aiding in his identification and subsequent arrest by the authorities. Outrage has surged among residents in response to the appalling act, with the accused now in police custody as investigations proceed.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis denounced the incident, labeling it a “blot on humanity” and ensuring a swift trial in a Fast-Track Court. He vowed to pursue the death penalty for the perpetrator to establish a firm legal precedent. Increased police presence has been ordered in the Bhor region to reassure the public and prevent further incidents. Senior police officials are closely monitoring the case to ensure a thorough investigation and trial without any loopholes.
