Pol Moreno and Dejan Dražić each scored a goal as FC Goa clinched a 2-0 win against Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 at the Kishore Bharti Krirangan in Kolkata. This victory propelled FC Goa to the top of the table with four points from two matches, while Mohammedan is yet to secure their first point after two games.

Moreno opened the scoring in the 4th minute, and Dejan Drazie extended the lead to 2-0 with a penalty in the 32nd minute. The Gaurs dominated the first half, with Moreno being named the Player of the Match for his performance.

FC Goa displayed early dominance as Moreno scored from Drazie’s corner kick, and despite several close chances, they maintained a 2-0 lead at halftime. The visitors controlled possession and tempo, while Mohammedan posed threats through counter-attacks.

The second half saw Mohammedan making changes to energize their gameplay, but FC Goa continued their authority on the field. Despite both teams creating opportunities, Goa’s defense held firm, securing the two-goal advantage until the final whistle.
