Three people were injured when a Ferrari car went out of control in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, causing a collision. The incident took place near the residence of popular Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Road No. 45. The expensive Ferrari, valued between Rs 3.5-4 crore, hit an electric pole and then collided with a car coming from the opposite direction, also damaging other vehicles.
The accident resulted in a significant traffic jam on the busy road, prompting the police to intervene. The injured individuals were promptly taken to a private hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. Traffic police managed the situation by diverting traffic temporarily and later clearing the congestion.
The Ferrari, en route from Jubilee Hills to Kondapur, was reportedly speeding, causing damage to at least three cars and a few two-wheelers. Initial investigations suggest that a malfunction in the brakes and engine contributed to the crash, with transport authorities conducting further inspections. The driver, who tested negative for alcohol, was heading to a wedding.
Jubilee Hills Police have initiated an investigation into the incident and registered a case. The Ferrari involved in the accident is registered under the name of E. Venkata Raja Reddy. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a farmer lost his life in a hit-and-run case in Pahadi Shareef on the outskirts of Hyderabad earlier in the day.
