‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ serves as a standalone sequel to the 2007 hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The film features Kartik, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in lead roles, with the storyline revolving around Ruhaan Randhawa and the malevolent spirit, Manjulika.
In a spiritual sequel, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ released in 2024, Kartik stars alongside Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. The film follows Ruhaan’s adventures as a fake ghost-chaser at a haunted castle, uncovering sinister plots and encountering unexpected thrills.
Filmmaker Anees Bazmee, known for hits like ‘No Entry’ and ‘Welcome,’ made his directorial debut with ‘Hulchul’ in 1995. Over the years, he has delivered successful films, including ‘Singh Is Kinng’ and ‘Ready,’ cementing his position in the industry.
