The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) is introducing a groundbreaking event, 72 The League, where the top 170 professional golfers will participate in an auction. This unique auction will see leading professionals from 11 countries being auctioned in the capital, setting the stage for the inaugural edition of 72 The League.
A total of 60 spots are available for golfers, with six franchises selecting 10 players each for their teams, with a total auction purse of INR 6 crores. India’s first exclusive national professional golf league, 72 The League, is set to commence on February 21, 2026, with the finals scheduled for March 6.
The 170 golfers participating in the auction will be categorized into Platinum, Gold, and Silver based on their rankings. The league will be held at three prestigious golf venues in Delhi NCR – Classic Golf & Country Club, Jaypee Greens, and Qutab Golf Course.
