The 75th edition of the Fit India Sundays on Cycle initiative was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Delhi and Gujarat on Commonwealth Games Day. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi participated in the event held in Ahmedabad, which also saw Olympic medallist Gagan Narang and actor Ayushmann Khurrana joining thousands of participants, especially youth, in cycling events promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle under the Fit India Movement. Mandaviya emphasized the significance of the occasion, coinciding with both Commonwealth Day and the milestone 75th edition of the cycling campaign, encouraging youths towards sports, fitness, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s fuel-saving campaign.

Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Sanghavi commended the ongoing initiative, expressing gratitude on behalf of Gujarat’s youth and welcoming Ayushmann Khurrana to the event. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana actively participated in the cycling drive, promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle under the Fit India movement, alongside other dignitaries.
The event also featured Olympic medallist Gagan Narang engaging with participants, stressing the significance of sports and daily physical activity. Narang praised the initiative led by Mandaviya under the Fit India movement, highlighting the enthusiasm in Ahmedabad for the Commonwealth Games. Olympic bronze medallist hockey player Gurjit Kaur expressed her joy in participating in the Fit India Movement Sunday Cycling event in Ahmedabad, encouraging more people to cycle every Sunday for fitness and fun. In Delhi, Minister Ashish Sood participated in the 75th edition of the campaign, emphasizing the unique initiative of the Government of India towards fitness and the importance of cycling before seeking medical help.
