The solar scam, which emerged in 2013, involved fraudulent promises of solar energy projects by Saritha S. Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan. The controversy embroiled political leaders, including Oommen Chandy. The recent court ruling is a significant development in the prolonged legal battle over the scandal.
