Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, hailed as a visionary leader, was commemorated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on his 101st birth anniversary. Naidu praised Vajpayee for elevating India to a nuclear power status and showcasing Indian capabilities globally. He highlighted Vajpayee’s resolute stance during the Kargil war and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent demonstration of strength through Operation Sindoor.
Naidu, accompanied by Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, unveiled Vajpayee’s statue in Venkatapalem, Amaravati. They visited a photo exhibition depicting Vajpayee’s life and interacted with stalls at the venue. The day also included a public meeting on Good Governance Day, attended by various dignitaries including Union Ministers and State BJP officials.
The event witnessed a significant turnout of Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jana Sena members, and the general public. Naidu, in a social media post, lauded Vajpayee’s statesmanship, integrity, and ability to foster consensus across party lines. He emphasized Vajpayee’s role in enhancing India’s security and governance, leaving a lasting impact on the nation’s progress.
