At least four Baloch civilians were reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan, as claimed by the Baloch National Movement’s Human Rights Department. The incident took place in the Jiwani area of Gwadar district following a late-night raid by Pakistani forces. The rights organization expressed serious concerns over the enforced disappearance of the four youths, identified as Mohsin, Yaqoob, Haseeb, and Sameer, urging for immediate action and investigation.
Highlighting the grave situation in Balochistan, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee revealed the extrajudicial killing of a 27-year-old labourer named Bada Bugti by the Pakistani Army in the Kad-Koocha area of Mastung district. The committee emphasized that such killings reflect the lack of safety for individuals in Balochistan, where military operations lead to impunity and lack of accountability. The incident underscores the ongoing human rights violations in the region, calling for justice and transparency.
