Actor and director Ken Karunaas revealed that renowned music director G V Prakash decided not to charge any fee for composing the music for his first directorial venture, ‘Youth’. Karunaas expressed gratitude towards Prakash for believing in his vision and providing the music for the film without any monetary compensation.
The film’s production unit initiated dubbing activities at the end of the previous year after completing the shooting schedule. A video clip shared by the production house captured the filming of a song, signaling the wrap-up of the project. The team thanked choreographer Shobi Master for his contributions and hinted at the upcoming release of the first look and single from the movie.
Ken Karunaas, known for his notable performances in films like ‘Asuran’ and ‘Viduthalai 2’, is not only starring in but also directing this upcoming movie. The cast includes actors Anisma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Devadarshini in significant roles. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Vicky, music composer G V Prakash Kumar, editor Nash, and art director Ramu Thangaraj.
The film, set against a school backdrop, is a collaborative effort of producers Karuppiah C. Ram, Kali Rajkumar, and Sulochana Kumar under the banners of Parvatha Entertainment and Street Boy Studio. The project boasts a grand budget and has garnered attention since its launch event in Chennai, attended by industry luminaries like Karthi, Vishal, Vetrimaaran, R. J. Balaji, and prominent producers who extended their best wishes to the team.
