Gajraj reminisced about the past, thanking Shekhar for the opportunity he provided three decades ago. He described Shekhar as warm and affectionate during their recent meeting at Soho House Mumbai. Gajraj praised Shekhar’s enduring compassion and wisdom, likening him to a Sufi saint.
The film “Bandit Queen” is a portrayal of Phoolan Devi’s life, adapted from Mala Sen’s book “India’s Bandit Queen: The True Story of Phoolan Devi.” Starring Seema Biswas in the lead role, the movie also featured renowned actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Saurabh Shukla. Released on 26 January 1994, the film was a collaboration between Kaleidoscope Entertainment and Film Four International.
