The Gandhi Nagar Police Station team in Delhi’s Shahdara district swiftly resolved a murder case within eight hours of filing an FIR. They apprehended the suspect and recovered the weapon and blood-stained clothes used in the crime. The victim, Krishan Kumar, succumbed to his injuries at GTB Hospital, prompting the case to be treated as a murder.
An investigative team, led by Inspector Raj Kumar, was formed to handle the case. They traced the incident back to a garment factory in Gandhi Nagar where a violent altercation occurred among workers. Eyewitnesses identified the assailant as Arwaz, who fatally stabbed Krishan Kumar. The police registered a case under FIR No. 216/2026 and swiftly located and arrested Arwaz within eight hours of filing the FIR.
Arwaz confessed to the crime during interrogation, leading to the recovery of the murder weapon and blood-stained clothes. It was revealed that Arwaz had a history of criminal involvement from his juvenile years.
