NotJustArt, a Youth4Jobs venture, partnered with Adani GreenXTalks to introduce the fifth edition of the Global Ability Photography Challenge (GAPC) 2026, a global photography contest exclusively for individuals with disabilities.
This edition aims to offer a worldwide platform for photographers with disabilities to exhibit their work and unique perspectives. The competition is open to disabled individuals globally and is free to participate, making it one of the largest inclusive photography platforms on a global scale.
In the past four editions, the initiative has witnessed significant growth, engaging over 50,000 participants from more than 30 countries and reaching a vast audience of more than 8 million people. The selected works from the previous year were showcased internationally in Japan and Dubai, further expanding the competition’s global presence.
The challenge calls for submissions from photographers with disabilities, whether amateur or professional, to present photographs that capture their life experiences and distinctive viewpoints. Organizers aim to amplify these voices and transform the perception of disability through visual narratives.
Adani Airports Holdings Limited Director Jeet Adani emphasized that the collaboration seeks to unite global talent through photography, a universal and creative medium that transcends borders. He expressed that each picture holds immense value, conveying a myriad of stories.
Meera Shenoy, Founder and CEO of Youth4Jobs Foundation, highlighted how this initiative showcases the creative leadership of individuals with disabilities when provided with the right platform. She noted that many past winners have triumphed over various obstacles with creativity, paving the way for new achievements.
The competition features a substantial prize pool to acknowledge exceptional talent, with the first prize amounting to Rs 5 lakh, followed by Rs 3 lakh for the second prize and Rs 2 lakh for the third. Winners from the fourth to tenth positions will each receive Rs 1 lakh. Additionally, the top 20 entries will be exhibited in a curated display, and the top 10 winners will be presented with specially designed trophies.
