The government, through MoS in PMO Jitendra Singh, has extended four formal invitations for discussions with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) within the last twenty-four hours. Despite these efforts, the CJP has not responded or engaged in communication with the government. Singh emphasized the government’s earnest approach, stressing the importance of dialogue to resolve the ongoing standoff with protesting students at Jantar Mantar.

Singh expressed the government’s readiness for dialogue round the clock, emphasizing that they have reached out to the students four times in the past day. He urged the students to participate in discussions on various issues, including NEET, underlining the government’s commitment to resolving matters through dialogue in the students’ best interests.

Union Minister J.P. Nadda has been designated as the government’s point of contact for these discussions. He is prepared to listen to and address the students’ grievances, allowing them to choose the timing and topics for the talks. The discussions can be held at Nadda’s office or residence at a mutually convenient time, with Singh also participating in the dialogue.

The government, sensitive to the concerns of the youth, has announced the establishment of fast-track courts to expedite the legal process and prosecute those responsible for paper leaks. These courts aim to ensure swift justice for wrongdoers, reflecting the Prime Minister’s commitment to the welfare and future of India’s youth.

Protests led by CJP-affiliated students over NEET paper leaks have been ongoing at Jantar Mantar for over a month. Meanwhile, social activist Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike has entered its 26th day. Despite consultations between the government and students, a consensus has not been reached, prolonging the stalemate.
